SoundHeart has been formed by two successful South London music businesses; Talents and Mike Edwardes Woodwind.

Talents Music (situated in Forest Hill) began trading in the mid-eighties, catering for retail customers and music students from beginner to intermediate levels and housing a large selection of books and sheet music. It has also been very pro-active specialising in PA design, supply and installations to a large number of clients, especially for churches around London and Kent. The shop supplies all catergories of instruments and accessories and is able to give excellent repair services not only to music instruments and PA systems, but also to computers.

Mike Edwardes Woodwind is based in Charlton, where Mike has been an established woodwind and brass instrument repairer since the early nineties. The repair business expanded into a music retail outlet and now has ‘main dealer’ status for Tanglewood and Vintage guitars and P. Mauriat saxophones.

The two businesses combined into SoundHeart Ltd. on the 1st September 2010, with the store at Forest Hill furnished with a brand new extension; housing its own teaching rooms, rehearsal studio and sheet music room as well as main retail area.

SoundHeart continues all the services of the two businesses – catering for repairs and supplies to educational authorities, music colleges, repair services to the music trade, as well as its own established and new client bases.
